Dr. Herbert L. Pedersen

Herb, a native Missourian, has pastored churches in Missouri and Texas for more than 40 years. He attended Southwest Missouri State University and received his Bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University. He has an earned Doctor's Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was also awarded a Doctor of Divinity Degree from Dallas Baptist University where he serves on the Board of Trustees. He has been a conference leader in Deacon Ministry for the Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and has conducted over 300 conferences in the United States and other countries. He is the author of the book "A Deacon Ministry that Works". He has conducted more than 300 revival meetings and partnership mission meetings in the United States and many foreign countries. Prior to coming to serve as Pastor of Longbranch, Dr. Pedersen served as the Director of the Missions Division of the Baptist General Conventions of Texas.
